There are so many diets and concepts of what's "healthy" to eat it can be very confusing to know what to do when you're trying to reach a fitness goal.  With nutrition consulting you will accomplish the following:

  • Goal assessment to determine what specific body composition changes you want to attain

  • Education on how the body uses energy and how that relates to the quantity and quality of foods needed for body fat loss, muscle gain, performance, and energy levels

  • Calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) to determine what your daily caloric needs are based on current body composition, goals, and activity level

  • Education on macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and fat), what they do in the body, how they effect your body composition goals

  • Education on how to choose nutrient dense foods to maximize results and maintain high energy levels while still understanding that no foods are off limits

  • Personal programming with caloric and macronutrient goals given. Come up with a plan together that is sustainable with your lifestyle and goals that includes foods you ENJOY eating. Recipes and meal and snack ideas will be shared.

  • Initial appointment via phone or video conference is approximately 60 minutes and subsequent weekly check-ins are approximately 20 minutes. A full program is given during initial consult based on individual needs, and food journal is reviewed, progress is checked, and any needed adjustments are made and discussed during check ins. Our focus will be on consistency, not perfection, as this is about nutrition education through practical application that you will take with you for the rest of your life.
